Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and television host, entrepreneur and recording artist is the recipient of numerous honors throughout her professional career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. In addition, she was selected for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. The father of her mother was wed to Ojales at the age of 1982. Jasmine's younger sister is an actor and her father is also an actor. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister named Clare who died in 2007 as a result of a coronary disease at four months old.
